Fuchs Family Dental Plan - FAQs
The whitening gel penetrates the enamel and removes most of the discoloration. Since enamel is transparent, the newly whitened inner tooth will show through. The results last one to five years, depending on your lifestyle, and may need periodic touch-ups.
The Fuchs Family Dental plan offers three plans:
- Single Membership: $199/year
- Dual Membership $300/year
- Family Plan Membership $500/year – up to five (5) family members
If signing up for the Family Plan, up to five (5) family members can be added to your plan and can immediately take advantage of savings discounts on dental services. All members of the Family Plan must be on the same family account. Additional family members can be added for only $99 per member. If signing up for the Individual Plan and would like to upgrade your plan, you may do so by paying the difference between the original plan and the new plan selected. Plans may not be downgraded.
The Fuchs Family Dental Plan gives each member access to savings on a variety of dental services. Signing up is easy – simply call the office and one of our team members will be happy to help get you started on the right plan for you! After receiving your service, plan participants are responsible for paying for services rendered on the day of their appointment. Each year members will receive:
- 2 free comprehensive exams per member
- 2 free regular cleanings* with fluoride treatment per member
- Access to FFDP member-only offers
- No claim forms to submit and waiting to find out if insurance is paying
- No waiting periods for any service
- No annual maximums or deductibles
- 30-50% off other dental services
* An adult or child prophylaxis is considered a “regular cleaning.” Your provider may recommend a “deep” cleaning or periodontal treatment depending on your oral health condition found
FFDP membership fees must be paid in full on the date of registration/date of appointment. FFDP membership renewal is automatic and will be billed on the anniversary date of your registration. Plan members will receive a notification at least 45 days prior to their membership anniversary date. Plan members who do not wish to renew their plan must call the office to cancel membership at least 30 days before annual renewal.
No. The Fuchs Family Dental Plan is a discount program providing access to all dental services we offer at discounted fees. Like most dental insurance plans, our members receive up to 2 free exams, cleanings, and necessary x-rays each year that they are a member. Other dental services are offered at discounted rates for members depending on the service selected. Plan participants are responsible for paying for services rendered on the date of their appointment.
All individuals, domestic partners, their dependents, and other family members can participate. There are no restrictions of participation, regardless of age or conditions existing prior to enrollment.
Depending on your plan coverage, some treatment that is recommended may not be covered by your insurance plan. For example, many insurance plans do not provide coverage for services they consider cosmetic and/or elective procedures, such as implants and Zoom! whitening. The Fuchs Family Dental Plan provides discounts for services that are not covered by your insurance plan. The Fuchs Family Dental Plan is not a dental insurance and does not coordinate insurance benefits with any dental insurance you may have. Therefore, additional discounts cannot be added on top of discounts provided for services that are covered by your insurance plan.
